本製品は、Intel CPU Sandy Bridge-E に対応し、最新チップ X79を搭載した、オーバークロッカー向けマザーボードです。

新ソケット LGA2011 採用で、ハイエンドCPU Sandy Bridge-E をご利用いただけます。また、X79チップセットの搭載ですので、今後展開予定があるPCI-e3.0対応のビデオカードもお使い頂けます。

特徴の一つであるメモリスロットはクアッドチャネル対応の合計8基搭載で、データ転送高速化を実現。電源回路の制御には「DIGI＋ Power Control」を採用し、柔軟な電圧設定により、耐久性を大幅に強化しています。

さらに、X79チップ搭載の最上位モデルである本製品には、「OC Key」アダプタが付属しており、CPUオーバークロック設定・モニタリングをより簡易に行うことが出来ます。

その他、高精度の温度センサー「Subzero Sense」の搭載、VGAの電圧設定を行う「VGA Hotwire」を搭載し、オーバークロック関連の機能はR.O.Gブランドにふさわしい仕様となっています。
