P9X79 DELUXE は、新 CPU (Intel Sandy Bridge-E) に対応する X79 チップセット搭載マザーボードです。

X79 チップセットは、X58 の後継となるハイエンドチップセットで、新CPUへの対応だけでなく、PCIE3.0、SATA 6G、メモリクアッドチャンネル等に対応して更なるパフォーマンスの底上げが図られています。

また、SSD を HDD のキャッシュとして利用して高速化する Marvell9128 による SSD Caching、ASM1042 による USB3.0 等、X79 チップセットに実装されていない機能も補完されています。

デジタル電源回路 "New DIGI+" によるバランスのとれた効率の良い電源供給と放熱効果を高めるヒートパイプ、またCPUファンを含めて冷却用ファン端子は6つ実装されているため、高負荷時のシステムを安定的に保つことができます。

P9X79 DELUXE は、最新の高性能 CPU に対応し、更に CPU + X79 の PCIE バスを余すことなく使い切れる PCIE スロット構成ですので、パフォーマンスを追求するためのベース基板としては間違いの無い選択肢と言える製品です。
